Stardrill Primer: Central
A downloadable game
Shining points of color speckle the shadowed boundary of the world, each of those vibrant gems a distant world filled with unknown wonders. A gyre of searing light carves through the darkness. Slow but sure, it forges a new path out into the Shroud: a new root to feed the city at its center.
Welcome to Stardrill, a fantasy setting about countless tiny worlds, hollow pockets of starlight in a solid mass of shadows. It is a setting about exploration and conservation with a cosmology that contrasts our own: a universe where worlds are enclosed and small, rather than vast orbs drifting in space. Stardrill is designed as tabletop roleplaying setting usable with a variety of game systems, and is written as a conceptual toolbox rather than a definitive encyclopedia, presenting options and ideas rather than concrete details. Stardrill Primer: Central presents a three-page overview of the setting through the lens of a single world-state known as Central, or Midelgem. It covers topics such as the shroud, the physical shadow that surrounds the worlds, the strange supernatural stars that carve hollows in the shroud, and the Preservationist Society, an organization that explores the worlds of Stardrill and investigates the unusual phenomena found within them.
